Bonnie Park

January 27, 2023 By cosmicdesign

Carrying on the visual story from the book, Brides of 1941, I had the pleasure of designing the 2nd book in this trilogy series, Six Weeks for Boat Mail. My main objective was to capture the delicate balance of waiting (and I mean waiting) for a letter from a loved one overseas, during a war torn time in U.S. history. Congrats Bonnie for telling your family story, it was an honor to be part of this journey! Stay tuned for book three. You can purchase book one and book two on Amazon today.

Grateful

December 11, 2021 By cosmicdesign

I am grateful to have met and worked with accomplished golf journalist and author, Joel Zuckerman. He came to me over a year ago with a vision to compile his 180 letters of gratitude into a book called, Grateful. This project was over a year long and the timing is impeccable. We should all take a page from his book, Grateful, and find the time to express our appreciation for others. I’m honored to have a spread in Grateful and thank you Joel for allowing me to be part of this creative journey!

So proud to have been a part of this beautiful process of designing Bonnie Park's second book cover in her trilogy, Six Week for Boat Mail. This story is based on found handwritten love letters from the 1940s that opened up a deep family dive into U.S. History, secrets, love and what it truly means to "wait" for something. Thank you Bonnie and I look forward to book three! #graphicdesign #smallbusiness #bookdesign #familyhistory #entrepreneur #authors #novelist #bookdesigner

New Year, new work!

This logo was a fun process. Rory Murphy Land Development builds stunning properties in Park City, Utah.

My vision was to develop a logo where architecture is one with nature and it's surroundings. Do you see mountain steeps or roof pitches, open spaces or corridors, tree or door way? Can you find the "M"? All these elements and more work together to capture the essence of Rory Murphy Land Development.

Just over a year ago I was asked to design a book for Joel Zuckerman, an accomplished golf journalist and author. This book would be different than most that I design. It compiles 180 letters of gratitude Joel has written over the years. Little did I know how relevant this book would be today. Even though it’s not for sale we can all take a page from the book by expressing our gratitude toward others. Thank you Joel for this project. It was worth the journey and the timing was impeccable! #Grateful #bookdesign #graphicdesigner #smallbusiness #bookjacket #kindness
