IMEX 2025 Design

September 28, 2025 By cosmicdesign

Partnering with the Park City Chamber Bureau for IMEX 2025 was an exciting opportunity to showcase “Mountainkind” on a global stage. I collaborated closely with their team to design an impactful trade show booth in Las Vegas—the largest event for the meetings, events, and incentive travel industry. From creating bold, larger-than-life wall panels to coordinating the many moving parts of booth design, this project proved how essential it is to work with a designer who knows your brand inside and out.

What began as a straightforward project quickly became a fast-paced challenge with tight deadlines and multiple layers of coordination—but that’s where the magic happens. It’s always an honor to bring Park City’s storytelling to life through design and to represent the community I proudly call home.

Survival on the American frontier

August 19, 2025 By cosmicdesign

After the recent California wildfires, Dale preserved her late mother’s unpublished manuscripts—writings that had never been shared with the world. Now, 53 years after her mother’s passing, Dale is starting the self-publishing journey to honor her legacy. I’m thrilled to be designing the professional book cover for this upcoming release. Stay tuned for updates on the book launch, the cover design process, and the inspiring story behind publishing her mother’s work after more than five decades.

Humorous Guide Book

July 23, 2025 By cosmicdesign

This isn’t your typical Park City guidebook—it’s a hilarious and honest take on life in this mountain town. Packed with humor and spicy truths, this funny Park City travel guide has something for everyone: visitors exploring Park City for the first time, newcomers who just moved to town, and locals who think they’ve seen it all.

I’m thrilled to have designed this funny, eye-catching book cover for another self-published author. Come meet the author, Michael O’Malley, on October 19 from 12-5p at Barnes and Noble or October 25 from 1-4p at Dolly’s Bookstore, both located in Park City, Utah. Thank you Michael!

Third Act

January 16, 2025 By cosmicdesign

The first Monday of January 2025, I was on a zoom call with three amazing women, whom happen to be in the world of comedy. We discussed revamping their logo and marketing for the Hollywood Fringe festival. A day later the Palisades fire broke out. My heart was heavy as I watched the destruction unfold and the bravery of those that jumped into action. Living in Park City and being logistically removed, I wanted to find a way to contribute immediately. I decided to donated a portion of my fee to the LA firefighters fund. Please consider contributing to those that are fighting the fight and those directly impacted. Every little bit helps! As they say in show business, “the show must go on”, so we are moving forward with the logo and pray that the sounds of laughter will return to LA. Stay tuned…

Steven C. Rose

November 24, 2024 By cosmicdesign

Good things happen when stories are given time to unfold. Steven C. Rose’s book The Portals of Bastards began as a quest to research his family lineage, tracing ancestors all the way back to the 1500s. Across centuries of history—through kings, crusaders, farmers, Vikings, and religion—his story uncovers the choices and sacrifices that shaped generations.

When Steve reached out to Cosmic Design, he needed a book cover that could capture this sweeping family journey. As a book cover designer for self-publishing authors, I wove together historical symbolism, layered textures, and visual storytelling to create a cover that spans eras while sparking curiosity. Each element was carefully chosen to reflect the depth of his narrative and resonate with readers who appreciate epic, multi-generational stories.

Though Steve’s series will remain a private collection for his family, collaborating on his five book series was an incredible opportunity to bring history to life through design. I’m honored to have been selected to tell his families stories that will continue to inspire.

LIV Sothebys International Realty agent, Laura Zietz of Winter Park, Colorado contracted Cosmic Design to recreate her logo for her ever growing business. My vision was to take her passion for her clients, the community and her love of horses and present them in an elegant way. The result is a modern brand-esqe logo with her initials intersecting a lucky horseshoe. Congrats Laura and thank you for bringing me on board.
