Laura Zietz

November 20, 2024 By cosmicdesign

LIV Sothebys International Realty agent, Laura Zietz of Winter Park, Colorado contracted Cosmic Design to recreate her logo for her ever growing business. My vision was to take her passion for her clients, the community and her love of horses and present them in an elegant way. The result is a modern brand-esqe logo with her initials intersecting a lucky horseshoe. Congrats Laura and thank you for bringing me on board.

As a designer, the fantasy genre is somewhat of a newer category for me. It’s been a really interesting process truly making these characters and scenes come to life. Paradox, by C.A. Fox debuted earlier this year to rave reviews. This is a trilogy series and lucky for you book two, Prophecy, was just released. Stay tuned, because book 3 is in the works. Grab yourself a copy at Dolly’s Bookstore in Park City, Utah or Amazon.

Bonnie Park

January 27, 2023 By cosmicdesign

Carrying on the visual story from the book, Brides of 1941, I had the pleasure of designing the 2nd book in this trilogy series, Six Weeks for Boat Mail. My main objective was to capture the delicate balance of waiting (and I mean waiting) for a letter from a loved one overseas, during a war torn time in U.S. history. Congrats Bonnie for telling your family story, it was an honor to be part of this journey! Stay tuned for book three. You can purchase book one and book two on Amazon today.

Two physicians, Park City, Utah, 1890s—what could go wrong?

Throughly enjoyed designing this cover, Beyond The False Summit. We went through many concepts before landing on this dramatic mountain scape which lit up the small mining town of Park City, Utah. Grab a copy at Dolly’s Bookstore, Amazon or at the Park City Museum.
